Although this does indeed seem to be an immature Heermann's Gull, the descriptive information provided at the US Fish and Wildlife Service site (http://images.fws.gov) is what appears above and should not be modified unless that source can be persuaded to change their description on their inventory. --Big_Iron 11:23, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)
