Juan Atkins
[edit]"The genre emerged with musicians Arthur Baker, Afrika Bambaataa, Warp 9, and Hashim. Seminal electro tracks included "Planet Rock" (1982) and "Nunk" (1982), both featuring its characteristic TR-808 drum beats."
What about Juan Atkins of Cybotron and "Alleys of your mind" and "Cosmic Raindance" from 1981, and "Cosmic Cars" from 1982?
It sounds more electronic than other "electro" and it's obviously more innovative than those making similar sounds after it.
Atkins called it "techno" before it was called "electro". 93.138.38.206 (talk) 07:15, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
