The redirect to calculus is not at all appropriate. Charles Matthews 16:05, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
This article cries out for a link to a new page with a pictorial explanation of angular deficits. I intend to create such a page in a few days. Hillman 29 May 2005
Einstein-Hilbert action etc.
[edit]I know virtually nothing about Regge calculus, but have read a few reviews recently and the idea of a discrete analogue of the classical Einstein-Hilbert action (obtained by summing deficit angles, multiplying by areas etc., or something like that) seems to crop up time and again. Perhaps this is worthy of mention. ---Mpatel (talk) 10:50, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
Students beware
[edit]I had long planned to improve this article and made a few edits to an earlier version. I had also been monitoring it for bad edits, but I am leaving the WP and am now abandoning this article to its fate.
Just wanted to provide notice that I am only responsible (in part) for the last version I edited; see User:Hillman/Archive. I emphatically do not vouch for anything you might see in more recent versions, although I hope for the best.
Good luck in your search for information, regardless!---CH 03:17, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
